Forsyth County School's Driver Education Program.

Effective January 1st, 2009 we are lowering our rates for the Drivers Education and Drive Only programs. As you know, in the summer of 2008 we had record high gas prices and we raised our fees to compensate for that. Now, gas prices are lower and we hope they will stay that way. Pruitt’s is going to do our best to maintain these lower fees for all of 2009.

Our State Certified, 36 HR program, consists of 30 hrs classroom instruction plus 6hrs one on one driving with one of our instructors. The program and all instructors are State Certified. The cost of this program is ($450.00). The split program for the Forsyth County School system or for completion of the internet program will be ($350.00), which is for the 6hrs of driving to complete the Joshua’s Law requirements. The Forsyth County School system charges a $100.00 lab fee for the classroom portion so the total fees are the same, whether you do it all here or the split program. However, the fee for the Internet program from our web site is $85.00, which is a savings of $15.00.

Here are some value packages to consider.

The 36-hour program: Includes Classroom plus 6 hours behind the wheel training for ($450.00) and is all you need to cover Joshua’s Law.

The 30 plus 10: Includes Classroom plus 10 hours behind the wheel training for ($610.00) = $100.00 in Savings.

Best Value The 30 plus 20: Includes Classroom plus 20 hours behind the wheel training for (1200.00) = $235.00 in Savings. (Includes $75.00 state road test).

The 30 plus 40: Includes Classroom plus 40 hours behind the wheel training for ($2300.00) = $435.00 in Savings. (Includes $75.00 state road test).

Savings are based on our standard rate of $65.00 per hour for driving instruction.

*** For the 30 plus 20 and the 30 plus 40 programs, we will include a state road test, which is $75.00 for no additional cost!!!
